He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Toledo.
A.J.’s professional experience began with a clinical internship in a community mental health setting, where he supported individuals as they navigated emotional, behavioral health, and recovery-related challenges. He later worked with Toledo-based community mental health agencies and advanced to the role of Manager of Residential Services.
In that leadership role, A.J. helped lead the delivery of clinical services and provided supervision to Chemical Dependency Assistant Counselors, supporting their professional development and certification requirements. His clinical and leadership background informs his practical, compassionate, and recovery-focused approach to therapy.
Outside of his clinical work, A.J. enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their children, Lily and Logan. He also enjoys mountain biking at Farnsworth Metropark in Waterville and woodworking in his shop during inclement weather.
