Jason’s Approach to Therapy

Jason’s therapy style is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Over time, his methods have evolved to include mindfulness techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

His goal is to partner with clients throughout the therapeutic process while supporting the development of confidence, self-awareness, self-acceptance, coping skills, and practical next steps. Jason works to tailor treatment to each person’s needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Jason also believes in supporting the whole person. When clinically appropriate, he may recommend additional resources, family interventions, supportive sessions, or couples counseling as part of a broader treatment plan that supports growth, recovery, and overall well-being.
