About Kristin Bruce

Kristin Bruce, LPCC-S, has served individuals and communities in the Toledo area since beginning her career in community mental health services in 2006. Over the years, she has worked in direct care, group and individual counseling, vocational case management, community psychiatric supportive treatment, program leadership, administrative roles, and the supervision and development of interns and new counselors.

Her background gives her a broad understanding of how mental health concerns can affect different areas of a person’s life, including relationships, work, identity, daily functioning, and long-term recovery. Kristin brings this experience into therapy with a steady, compassionate, and practical approach.

Kristin believes therapy can be a supportive space for healing, reflection, growth, and change. She sees her role as a navigator, guide, encourager, and facilitator as clients work through difficult experiences, explore new ways of understanding themselves, and move toward goals that feel meaningful in their lives.

Outside of therapy, Kristin enjoys time in nature, book clubs, and quiet moments that help her stay grounded.
